December 16, 2019 — What an incredible honour to be a part of the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva, to be witness to the incredible work of the Refugee Hub (from Ottawa), led by the inspiring professor Jennifer Bond, chair of the Global Refugee Sponsorship Initiative, an effort to expand the community sponsorship program globally (10 countries so far have committed to this). I was especially impressed with the compassion (and humour) of our new Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship. He will do good work
