In 2016, I was honoured to be a part of the I am a Migrant campaign, initiated by the UN’s International Organization on Migration. It is a campaign to challenge the anti-migrant stereotypes and hate-speech in politics and society. I was then invited to be one of the speakers at their 107th Council Session at the UN headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland
