Launching “The Doll”
April 25 th- The Doll is now officially launched!! And we sold out too!! Actually, I owe another 50books! I seriously did not think anyone would come, and so I am grateful for everyone who came to help make today’s event a huge success. Can’t believe how many kind individuals also drove out from Edmonton because of the CBC newscast/article. Many thanks as well to all the friends who have bought copies online. Your support means so much to me.
With all the books sold via cash today, we were able to raise over $2000 towards sponsoring our refugee family, while all the purchases via debit/credit card machine will help sustain our local bookstore Audreys Books. And many thanks to Kari’s Versus Cafe for the delicious cupcakes!!
April 13th – If you see an overdressed Asian person standing on the streets of Calmar on Sunday, April 25th between 2-330pm, it’s ME!

April 7th – Because of COVID, I was resigned to doing nothing in particular for the launch of ‘The Doll’ this month, but a friend sparked a non-zoom idea, and I’m actually excited. Will keep you posted
